Abrasive Backing
We manufacture backing fabrics for emery cloths according to requirements and in close cooperation with customers, depending on their use and processing.
We mainly use 100% cotton, 100% polyester, and blends of these materials to produce these fabrics. We produce backing fabrics ranging from very light ones weighing approx. 60g/m2 to very stiff and high-strength fabrics weighing approx. 600g/m2. The possible widths range from 1 m to 2.1 m. Our products have various parameters (strength and elasticity, weight, stiffness, softness, color, and chemical resistance).
Our products are used by our customers to make a variety of products such as discs, tapes, belts, segments, and sponges for various purposes and types of sanding (widths of 1–200 cm) with different grain sizes. They are used in hobby sanding to professional sanding, flap discs and flap wheels, sanding rolls, A4 sheets, etc.
In general, our customers are manufacturers of abrasive tools for the woodworking, metalworking, and automotive industries. The final products are used for various types of grinding materials such as glass, stone, varnishes, stainless steel, etc.
